I have never written a review for a film before. But I thought it was worth writing one for this. It is the worst film I have seen in a long time. No plot. No Action. No Humour. I don't mind a bit of violence in a film but this one had violence but nothing else at all to make it worth watching. A complete waste of 2 and a half hours.

This is a superb film, if you want all action, no plot, no drama, gimmicks and irrelevant car chases - this is not the one for you. Yes it is very violent and very real but required by the serious nature of the film. All the leading actors put in excellent performances and the 2 hours 10 minutes flew by. Fantastic film, go see it and if you are a serious film watcher you will not be disappointed.
Excellent addition to the cop genre

When a cast includes Colin Farrell, Ed Norton and Jon Voight, you wonder why it took New Line so long, way too long, to release this great cop thriller.'Pride and Glory' is a corrupt cop drama made interesting by the quality of the performances, the gritty view of New York City crime, mixed with good old fashioned family values.
On the surface, this dirty-cop drama is nothing we haven't seen a million times before, but it's the telling of the somewhat familiar tale that makes it worth watching. With a distinctive 1970's feel, along the lines of Al Pacino's 'Serpico' and 'The French Connection', 'Pride and Glory' is a violent yet realistic cop drama that you'll probably want to see again.
