Being stuck in the wilderness shouldn’t be a problem for these animals in this comedy sequel to the smash hit ‘Madagascar’.
Whilst trying to return back to New York and their beloved zoo, Marty, Alex and the rest of the animals become stranded in the wilderness of the African plains, meeting their wild cousins for the very first time. Will they enjoy their new found home or will theywant to return back to their own special Central Park zoo?

Not As Good As The First!

I went to see this film a little while ago with my husband and youngest son, aged 11 (mainly for him, of course!) I have to say that I was more than a little disappointed. Towards the end, I even found myself almost constantly looking at my watch - desparately waiting for it to finish! I think younger children would probably enjoy it though as it is very 'lively'; my own son seemed to agree with me, however, and was disappointed. Sequels of this kind though are rarely as good as the first and it is no doubt only as a result of the popularity of the first film that these second ones ever get made! Probably best to wait for this one to go to DVD, in my opinion. Then you can pick and choose you moments of viewing as the humour is much thinner on the ground than in the first and what there is tends to be very much 'in your face'!

My friends and I went to see this a while ago now and, for me, it was okayish. I wasn't as excited as the rest of the group who love this sort of thing but I thought I'd give it a chance.
Sure there were some funny parts, mainly the fish, but otherwise it wasn't the best film i've seen this year.
The first film was really good, but this felt like a sequel, just churning the same things but not to the same effect.
For those who like this sort of humour it will be great, but it is meant for kids, so that's probably why I didn't like it enthusiastically. I'm not old, I'm 16, but I prefer my humour to be more intelligent, and this film was too illogical and didn't make sense to me - how did the fish survive?
Good for kids though :)

It was just as entertaing as the 1st one. It Was Funny But Not Hilarious.
I mean the film makers KNOW its gonna do well so why put all the funny bits it the trailer to make it look good its silly!
